Caffeine

In an attempt to whiten my teeth, I am giving up dark colored beverages. This means, I cannot have coffee or soda. I am going through caffeine withdrawl hell. I am exhausted. I had a cup of green tea and that helped for a bit but I really miss my afternoon soda. A) It got me back in gear to work after lunch and B) I love having something sweet after a meal. Since I drink diet drinks (I know, I really shouldn’t) it’s a great no-calorie way to satisfy my needs.

Oh well. I’ll get used to it, right?

A Year After Graduation

What have I done in a year? I lived in Chicago for 2 months, went to Europe, moved home, had one temp job, Vegas in Halloween, countless interviews, two internships, moved to SF, FT “job”, made new friends, reunited with someone from the past…

I think that about sums it up. Not a bad year I suppose

Bay to Breakers

Well, I didn’t last long at Bay to Breakers. It’s a probably when you kill a bottle of Champagne before 8:30 and then take beer bong rips…oops.

Anyways, it was a SHOW. Next year I will be going at 8am as we missed much of the excitement by arriving around 9:15.

My favorite part: 6:45 am, corner of Gough and Lombard. Caitlin and I are in our Risky Business attire. A cowboy walks past, tips his hat, and keeps going. No words exchanged.

LOVES IT.

Note: not wearing pants, big hit. Made a lot of new friends.

I’m crying I’m laughing so hard. It’s hard to laugh silently at work.
